CSI 9.06: Missing Child

okay, so i missed the first 10 min or so, i mean, i watched it, but i was on the phone so i wasn't watching real close. luckily all i missed was the opening scene of the murders.
so initially when they mentioned all the drugs the kid was on and how they didn't allow his body to grow, i automatically thought of child prostitution. i mean, his mom is and she's a drug addict so she probably "needs" the extra money. and then there was the skin that was found under his nails... i don't even want to share the image i got...
but i'm glad it wasn't that. it is sad that the one family member he had that was trying to help him and be nice to him ended up dead. and now he has to go to juvie. he's only 8 and now he has no family and he killed his own mom. that's gonna cause some problems.
i was amused by the situation at the department store too. tho it is a little strange for a store to have such a thing to handle shoplifters. seems like they're going a little out of their reach and doing someone else's job. let's just hope that's only happening in tv land...
all in all it was a good episode. i didn't know who the killer was until they showed it. any more, that takes a lot.
